Artist Statement – The Power of Love

The Power of Love debuted in Vietnam as an exploration of the delicate and dynamic forces of emotion and connection. Love, in its essence, is both magnetic and fragile—an invisible force that draws us together yet shifts with movement, time, and energy.

At the heart of this installation, a geometric armature suspended delicate glass tubes, each holding blooms that hovered in space. Hidden magnets embedded within the structure subtly guided the flowers, causing them to gravitate toward one another with the slightest breeze or movement. This unseen push and pull mirrored the way love ebbs and flows—sometimes effortless, sometimes requiring gentle force, yet always present in its quiet power.

The choice of blooms reflected a dialogue between contrast and harmony. Soft, ethereal petals met structured, textural forms—an interplay of femininity and masculinity, tenderness and strength. Each element, distinct on its own, found balance within the composition, just as love exists in the delicate balance of two souls navigating space together.

This installation was not just about flowers or form but about feeling—about how love is something we do not see, yet undeniably sense. A force that moves us, shapes us, and ultimately brings us closer.
